Baku. 5 February. REPORT.AZ/ Those who want to become a lawyer in Azerbaijan will be given the opportunity to take part in the qualification examination if they fail in the written test exam.
Report informs that “Law on Advocates and Advocacy” is changed in this regard.
According to the VIII part of Article 13 that (Azerbaijan Bar Association) aperson who fails the specialty exam may be re-examined on the basis of the opinion of the Qualification Commission within no later than one year.
The amendment goes: "A person who fails to pass the oral interview stage of a specialty exam cannot take part in specialty examinations within one year after that interview."
It notes that those wishing to become a lawyer must successfully pass the speciality exams that are held in two stages: a written test and a verbal oral interview. The person who fails the written test exam will be given the opportunity to take a re-qualification examination.
