According to the order of the President of Azerbaijan, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Ilham Aliyev, on November 4, the Minister of Defense, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, and other senior officers of the ministry visited the military units deployed on the border region with Armenia, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Defense.
The minister, who got acquainted with the conditions created at the newly built station, was informed that all the necessary conditions have been created in the station for organizing military service at a high level.
It includes a gunroom, a dormitory, a dining room, a kitchen, food and storage facilities, a bathroom-sanitary junction, heating stoves, generators, and solar panels that supply the area with uninterrupted electricity, as well as a park for military vehicles.
In order to prepare for the winter, base stations and combat positions have been stocked with all types of supplies, including liquid fuel, firewood, and coal.
After getting acquainted with the living conditions of the personnel, Colonel-General Hasanov got acquainted with the military service activities of the personnel serving in combat positions.
Reports were made to the Minister of Defense on the operational situation.
The minister, who met with military personnel serving in harsh climatic conditions and areas with sharp terrain, highly appreciated their combat and moral and psychological preparation.
The Minister of Defense gave relevant instructions to the responsible officers regarding the organization of combat duty and further improvement of social and household conditions of military personnel.
