"I appreciate the 'Mustafa Kemal Ataturk 2019' Azerbaijan-Turkey joint tactical exercises as a logical outcome and extraordinary training between the military personnel of the two countries for many years," head of the Turkish Group, Colonel Murat Dirik said.
According to him, the exercises are very useful for working together, ensuring mutual understanding of the military personnel of the two countries and the development of military equipment: "We came here with motorized infantry of 85 people. From the moment of our arrival, we are extremely pleased with the attention of the Azerbaijani people, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces. This is a sign that our friendship and brotherhood have deep roots. "
Launched on May 1, the drills end today. Similar drills were held in 2013, 2015 and 2017, in Azerbaijan and in 2014, 2016 and 2018 in Turkey.
