SBS deputy chief: "These martyrs also showed heroism in Patriotic War"

"The memory of our martyrs will not be erased from the hearts of those who know them," Deputy Chief of the State Border Service, Lieutenant General Ilham Mehdiyev said at a farewell ceremony for servicemen, killed in the November 30 military helicopter crash of the State Border Service during training flights at the Garaheybat testing ground in Khizi District, Report informs.

He said that the martyrs, whose farewell ceremony was being held today, also showed heroism in the Patriotic War: "They deservedly coped with their task."
