On December 24, President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan made a phone call to the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Report informs, citing presidential press service.

President Erdogan extended his congratulations to the head of state on his birth anniversary and wished him success in his presidential activities for the development and prosperity of Azerbaijan and the best of health.

President Ilham Aliyev thanked the Turkish President for the attention and congratulations.

Emphasizing the successful development of friendly and brotherly relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey, the heads of state expressed their confidence that bilateral ties would continue strengthening and expanding.

During the phone talk, the sides exchanged views on prospects for cooperation.
