Over 150 mines neutralized in Azerbaijan's liberated territories over past week

A total of 29 anti-tank mines, 126 anti-personnel mines, and 483 unexploded ordnance (UXO) were discovered and neutralized in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, from November 11 to 17, according to the Azerbaijan Mine Action Agency (ANAMA).

Report informs that during the past week, an area of 972.6 hectares was cleared of mines.

Demining operations were carried out by ANAMA, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Emergency Situations, State Border Service, and four private companies in Tartar, Aghdara, Kalbajar, Aghdam, Khojaly, Khankandi, Shusha, Khojavand, Lachin, Fuzuli, Jabrayil, Gubadli, and Zangilan.
