The Caucasian Eagle-2022 joint military exercises of the special forces of Azerbaijan, Turkiye, and Georgia continue, the Ministry of Defense of Georgia said, Report informs.

The opening ceremony of the training took place at the Mukhrovani special forces training center, named after Major Gela Chedia. Anthems of all three countries were played at the opening ceremony.

Deputy Commander of the Georgian Defense Forces, Brigadier General Irakli Chichinadze, the Commander of the Georgian Special Operations Forces, Colonel Teymuraz Klateishvili, Azerbaijan's military attaché in Georgia, Lieutenant Colonel Fuad Ibrahimov, Turkiye's military attaché in Georgia, Colonel Burak Altıner, and other officials took part in the event.

The Caucasian Eagle military exercises are held on a yearly basis.
