Italy hosts Trans-Regional Seapower Symposium

XIV Trans-Regional Seapower Symposium was held in Venice, Italy, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry.

The main agenda of the symposium is to promote countries' commitments to protecting the underwater environment and to ensure security in this field.

A representative from the Military Attaché Office of Azerbaijan in Italy attended the event at the invitation of the Chief of the Italian Navy, Admiral Enrico Credendino.

The Defense Minister of Italy Guido Crosetto delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of the symposium, extending his greetings to the attendees.

The Symposium was attended by commanders of naval forces from approximately 100 countries, along with representatives from up to 400 maritime organizations.
