Defense Ministry on cause of blasts at Seyfali training ground

Units of the Azerbaijani army, in compliance with security measures, continue the planned disposal of ammunition that has expired and is unsuitable for use, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said in response to Report’s query.

"The disposal work, carried out at the Seyfali training ground, has already been completed. In accordance with the plan, part of the disposal process continues at the Garaheybat landfill.

The public will be regularly informed about the ongoing work. Once again, we urge the population not to panic, and declare that there is no reason for concern," the Defense Ministry said.
