Military-technical cooperation is one of the important areas of strategic partnership between Moscow and Baku.
Report reports that Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov made the statement at a press conference following a meeting with his Azerbaijani counterpart Elmar Mammadyarov in Baku, commenting on the issue of Armenia’s claims to the CSTO countries due to arms sales to Azerbaijan.
"I can only emphasize that military-technical cooperation is one of the important areas of strategic partnership between Moscow and Baku. We are developing military-technical cooperation in full compliance with international law. With full balance in the region and the importance of maintaining stability," said Lavrov.
Lavrov did not rule out the possibility of concluding a new deal: “There are certain ideas,” he said.
