Azerbaijani Chief of General Staff meets with his Turkish counterpart

First Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan – Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army, Colonel General Karim Valiyev, who is on a working visit to Türkiye in order to participate in EFES - 2024 multinational exercise, met with the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Türkiye, Army General Metin Gurak.

Report informs citing Azerbaijan's MoD that the current state of military and military-technical cooperation was discussed, and the importance of increasing the intensity of joint exercises in order to exchange experience was emphasized at the meeting.
