Azerbaijan and Turkiye will hold joint exercises in fighting wildfires, Report informs.
The agreement was reached during a meeting between Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations Lieutenant General Etibar Mirzayev and Turkish Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Veysel Tiryaki.
The training will be held in Turkiye in the near future.
The deputy ministers discussed the details of the protocol of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkiye in forest protection and firefighting. Azerbaijan will provide planes and helicopters to Turkiye for use in forest fires.
