Some of the projects related to the development of defense industry in Slovakia have been discussed in Baku, Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic Robert Fico said an interview with AZERTAC and AzTV, Report informs.
"I have supported the development of the defense industry in Slovakia. Mr. President (President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev - ed.) and I have discussed some projects," Fico said.
According to him, technology will come from Slovakia and finance from Azerbaijan.
The prime minister added that the weapons to be produced will either be exported or remain in Azerbaijan.
"As we know, the parameters of the war in Ukraine have completely changed. There is currently a serious shortage of weapons. If we can do that, I think it will be beneficial for both countries," Fico said.
