Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry dismisses reports on shelling of civilian objects as provocative

The information spread by some Armenian media outlets about the shelling of civilian objects by Azerbaijani units is provocative and disinformation in nature, Head of the Press Service of Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry, Colonel Anar Eyvazov said at today's briefing, according to Report.

"The goal is to undermine the image of our army and to form an erroneous opinion among the international community about the local anti-terrorist activities. The materials disseminated on the official website of the Ministry of Defense make it clear that our units strike only legitimate military targets," Eyvazov said.
