Army units enter on combat duty in frontline

The Army held a ceremony for units’ entrance on combat duty in one of the military units deployed in the frontline zone.

At first, the memory of the national leader Heydar Aliyev and shehids (martyrs) who sacrificed their lives for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country was honored with observing a minute of silence. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.

The commander of the military unit congratulated the units that will be on combat duty and gave relevant recommendations and instructions.

Then, the most distinguished servicemen who achieved the best results in combat training were awarded diplomas and valuable gifts. The servicemen who will be on combat duty promised to serve exemplarily and be merciless for the enemy.

At the end of the event, units were solemnly sent to combat positions.
