Baku. 2 June. REPORT.AZ/ The process of transition from analogical broadcasting to digital has started in the territory of Azerbaijan. Report was told by the head of the Technical Department of National Television and Radio Council, Isa Mammadov.
According to him, 97 television transmitters were installed for digital broadcasting up to date: "They cover almost the entire country. On the basis of public complaints, it was planned to install 25 small broadcasters. In Nardaran is also planned to install one receiver. Besides this, the TV transmitters will be installed in Lerik and other areas. Additional measures are also planned."
I.Mammadov added that the rates of digital television and radio tariffs are low than in analogical broadcasting.
Notably, the Cabinet of Ministers had approved the "Tariffs of digital television and radio broadcasting."
