Report correspondent wins competition of Kazakhstan Foreign Ministry

Nargiz Mammadova, an employee of the Report News Agency, has been declared the winner of the annual competition "Kazakhstan through the eyes of foreign media" for her article "CICA: New Asia in new world - a look from Azerbaijan", according to Report.

More than 70 journalists from 40 countries had applied for participation in the 8th annual competition held by the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Kazakhstan together with Kazakh Tourism, the Club of Chief Editors and the CICA Secretariat (Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia).

Journalists and bloggers from five continents presented their works in various formats, including articles in print and electronic publications, popular internet platforms, and others.

Eight foreign authors in different regions of the world became the winners of the competition in various categories, including: "CIS and Eurasia", "Kazakh Tourism" and others. This year, for the first time, a separate nomination was introduced from the CICA, on the occasion of Kazakhstan's chairmanship in this organization.

The winners of the competition will get the opportunity to take part in an organized trip to Kazakhstan with a visit to the cities of Astana, Almaty and the East Kazakhstan region in August 2023.
