Parliament may debate bill “On Defamation” by the end of the year

“The bill 'On Defamation' is expected to be discussed in parliament by the end of this year,” MP Aflatun Amashov said.

Report informs that he spoke at the 16th South Caucasus Media Conference titled "Strengthening media freedom and safety of journalists in a changing environment".

He said that the bill was submitted to the Milli Majlis.

Amashov said there are various initiatives on tax and other directions in the field of media.
