Media subjects in Azerbaijan to receive perpetual certificates

In Azerbaijan, media subjects will be issued certificates of inclusion in the media register indefinitely through an electronic information resource, reads the "Rules for maintaining the media register" approved by President Ilham Aliyev, Report informs.

The document notes that media entities and journalists included in the media register will be issued a certificate and electronic media pass through an electronic information resource.

The certificate will be issued indefinitely from the date of making the corresponding entry in the register, and the media pass will be issued for 3 years.

A journalist will be able to receive a certificate on paper within three working days after applying.
