The Media Literacy Week has kicked off today.
Report informs that awareness-raising activities will be carried out during the week from December 16 to December 22, organized by the Media Development Agency in partnership with relevant state and private organizations, academic institutions, media, and civil society institutions.
During the week, there will be media campaigns in media and social networks, podcasts, training sessions targeting different groups in Baku and regions, as well as webinars and media tours, and the implementation of the Smart Media project on ASAN Radio.
Additionally, it is planned to conduct TOT (Training of Trainers) programs for academic staff teaching media and communication, hold media literacy training in general education institutions across Baku city, launch an online course on the medialiteracy.media.gov.az platform, and organize the traditional Media Literacy Conference.
