Report informs, chairman of Copyright Agency of Azerbaijan Republic, Kamran Imanov has said.

He said that intellectual property culture has not been formed both in writers and thieves of news: "It is necessary to formalize intellectual property culture in people in order to accept writing, newspaper properly."

K.Imanov noted that in modern period, the thieves of news especially benefit from modern social networks and the Internet: "All possibilities can be created, it can be used, but culture should also exist."

Answering the question, "What should journalists do to protect their copyrights, where they can appeal to and what the international practice say?" , the chairman said : "Stealing of journalists’ writings is disaster of whole world. As regards to Azerbaijan, all the information on the subject have been posted on the website of Copyright Agency. There, you will find answers to all of the questions including "How we can fight against this disaster in the modern system, how the rights on the Internet are managed and what the agency is doing for it?".
