Heads of Azerbaijan's leading media get acquainted with activity of Russian news agency TASS

The heads of a number of leading Azerbaijani media, who arrived in Moscow to participate in the round table "Russia-Azerbaijan: Topical Issues of Media Cooperation", got acquainted with the activities of the Russian news agency TASS.

According to Report's correspondent from the Russian capital, they first viewed a photo exhibition that opened in Moscow near the TASS building, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the national leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev.

Then they got acquainted with the activity of the Russian state news agency. Media representatives visited TASS editorials, where they were told that the agency produces about 3,000 news a day in all official languages of the UN, including about 1,500 news in Russian. TASS has a number of different products, including multimedia.

The correspondent network of the news agency is represented by 53 countries, there are 56 correspondents abroad. There are countries, such as South Africa, Australia, where TASS is the only representative of the Russian media.
