Russia's Consumer Watchdog, Roskomnadzor, has blocked Azerbaijan's Oxu.Az website in Russia.
The move taken without any notification or warning to the editors of the website is considered to be a direct violation of freedom of speech, democracy and pluralism.
It should be noted that Oxu.Az, one of the most read news websites in Azerbaijan, has never disseminated false, unreliable or untrue information. In this regard, Roskomnadzor's move is viewed as extremely biased and illegal.
It should be noted that Oxu.az operates in two languages - Azerbaijani and Russian.
