Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan mull co-op prospects in media

Prospects for cooperation between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan in the media sphere have been discussed, Report informs referring to the Media Development Agency.

As part of the visit to Tashkent, the Azerbaijani delegation led by executive director of the agency, Ahmad Ismayilov, met with Director General of the Agency for Information and Mass Communications under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Asadjan Khodjaev.

The sides exchanged views on establishing effective and large-scale ties between the two countries in the field of media and communications, as well as on issues of global relevance in the information and communication sphere.

The parties emphasized great importance of implementing specific projects. In addition, the sides also discussed measures to be taken to implement the Road Map for the development of cooperation in the field of media between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.
