Azerbaijan's public ITV elects a new director today

Baku. 25 April. REPORT.AZ/ New CEO of Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company (ITV) in Azerbaijan will be named today.

Report informs, name of person heading the company during next 4 years will be determined at the meeting of Broadcasting Board members at National Television and Radio Council (NTRC).

So that new CEO will be elected via secret ballot by Broadcasting Council members.

Notably, in the period of April 12-22 five candidates applied for the competition announced by NTRC for this position. They are Pashazade Tahir Aghalar, Guliyev Jamil Elshad oglu, Soltanov Iltifat Hajikhan, Mammadov Tahir Tais and Aghayeva Afag Agaibrahim.

Notably, office term of Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company (ITV) CEO Jamil Gulyev elected to this position in 2013, has ended this month.
