A meeting of the National Security Council of Turkey will be held today under the chairmanship of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan,
The meeting will focus on steps taken in the fight against terrorism at home and abroad and the current situation in this field.
The attendees will also focus on the latest situation in Karabakh, the Mediterranean, Afghanistan, and Syria.
The meeting participants will discuss confidential information collected by Turkish intelligence on the activities of terrorist organizations and exchange views on launching new operations.
The main focus will be on the activities of terrorist organizations in northern Syria. Measures to prevent provocative actions of Greece and the Greek part of Cyprus in the Mediterranean will also be considered.
