Traveler: International community must unite to tackle mine problem

The international community must unite to solve the mine problem, Lakshmi Parthasarathy,a traveler from the United States, told Report.

She noted that Azerbaijan is on the right path, drawing the attention of the international community to the problem of mines in the liberated territories.

"I have visited many countries that have faced the mine problem. The international community needs to unite to solve this issue," Parthasarathy said.

Referring to the trip to Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur, the traveler said that the tour was memorable: "I had never been to Azerbaijan before, it is beautiful, and the people here are very hospitable. In the future, I want to visit Azerbaijan again and stay longer."

A delegation of 35 international travelers is visiting the liberated territories of Azerbaijan. Today they visited the Khudafarin Bridge in the Jabrayil district.

The trip was organized by the world-famous organization MTP (Most Traveled People). Travelers from 13 countries - the USA, the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Norway, Sweden, Portugal, the Philippines, Poland, Hungary and others - are taking part in it.

Over the past 4 years, more than 360 international travelers from almost 50 countries have visited the liberated territories of Azerbaijan.
