There are facts that 872 of those missing in the 1st Karabakh War were alive, the Deputy Chair of the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages, and Missing Persons of Azerbaijan, Eldar Samadov, told a briefing held on April 30, Report informs.
According to him, 253 people were detained in the territory of Armenia: "We requested information about the places of detention of those persons. We are ready to cooperate with the relevant institution of the other party in clarifying the fate of the missing people."
