Spanish traveler: Very sad to see all consequences of occupation

The nature of Azerbaijan’s Kalbajar district is stunning, the view of the mountains of Kalbajar is mesmerizing, Spanish traveler Antonio Aguilar Ortin, who is on a visit to the liberated Azerbaijani territories as part of a group of famous travelers from 21 countries, told Report.

“It is very sad to see how recent history has affected people’s lives, as well as all the consequences of what happened. We are also trying to find out plans for the future in these territories, as well as what people think about it,” Ortin said, talking about his impressions of the trip.

On February 16, famous foreign travelers began their three-day visit to the liberated Azerbaijani territories. During the trip, they will get acquainted with the historical and cultural monuments in these territories, with the destruction committed by the Armenians during the occupation, as well as with the work to restore the infrastructure.

On February 16, they visited the cities of Shusha and Aghdam, and on February 17, they visited Kalbajar and Lachin.
