Mine-clearance operations begin in Karabakh

Humanitarian mine-clearance operations has begun in Nagorno-Karabakh, the head of the engineering service of the Russian military contingent, Lieutenant Colonel Pavel Pautov said.

"From today the sappers have started humanitarian mine-clearance. At the first stage specialists will check the territory where stationary posts of the Russian military contingent will be built in the future,” Pautov noted.
