Russian FM: Issue of handing minefield maps to Azerbaijan was discussed in Yerevan

“We are for all humanitarian issues to be resolved as quickly as possible and without preconditions, in particular, the issues regarding mines,” Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at a press conference in Baku following a meeting with his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov, Report informs.
Lavrov made the remark while commenting on Armenia's refusal to hand minefield maps to Azerbaijan.
“We discussed this issue in Yerevan. It seemed to me that the Armenian leadership has an understanding that this issue needs to be addressed. And the first steps were taken. I have informed the Azerbaijani leadership about this. We hope that this problem will be tackled shortly and fully resolved,” Lavrov said.
