President's special representative: Mine contamination among most serious problems in Karabakh

Mine contamination in Karabakh is one of the most serious problems hindering the restoration of the region and the return of residents to their homes, Vahid Hajiyev, the special representative of the President in the Jabrayil, Gubadli and Zangilan districts, said.
Report informs that Hajiyev spoke during the 3rd international conference on Mitigating Environmental Impact of Landmines: Resource Mobilization for Safe and Green Future in Zangilan.
According to him, active large-scale restoration work in Karabakh started after the end of the Second Karabakh War.
