President of Uzbekistan: 'Karabakh is being reborn before our eyes and turning into a prosperous region'

Karabakh is being reborn before our eyes and turning into a flourishing land, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev said during the first meeting of the Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan High Intergovernmental Council.

Mirziyoyev emphasized the historical role of President Ilham Aliyev in restoring the country's territorial integrity and returning the ancestral Azerbaijani lands.

According to him, President Aliyev fulfilled the great dream of both his father and the entire Azerbaijani people. "I personally visited Fuzuli and Shusha, saw [everything] with my own eyes and rejoiced," he said.
