Azerbaijan is committed to establishing peace in the region and is ready to start work on a peace agreement with Armenia, Report informs that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev told a briefing following a meeting with NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg in Brussels.
The president added that the post-war situation in the South Caucasus was discussed at the meeting.
"Azerbaijan is committed to peace. We are ready to establish an active dialogue and re-learn to be neighbors," President Ilham Aliyev said, noting that if there is goodwill on the Armenian side, Azerbaijan is ready to start work on a peace agreement.
