The Committee on Migration, Refugees and Forced Migrants of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) has discussed the issue of Azerbaijani refugees and internally displaced persons.

Report’s French bureau reports that members of the PACE Committee on Migration, Refugees and Forced Migrants, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and Displaced Persons of Azerbaijan Fuad Huseynov, head of the Azerbaijani delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Samad Seyidov, journalists, etc., were present at the session.

According to the Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and Forced Migrants, Fuad Huseynov, the priority issues for the Azerbaijani state are the needs and concerns of people who have become internally displaced as a result of the occupation of 20% of our territories by Armenia.

Huseynov stressed the importance of solving the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict for the restoration of the fundamental rights of Azerbaijani internally displaced persons.
