Over 35,000 families to be moved to liberated territories by end of 2026

It is planned to resettle 34,500 families to Azerbaijan's liberated territories by the end of 2026, Emin Huseynov, Special Representative of the President in the territories liberated from occupation, which are part of the Karabakh economic region (with the exception of the Shusha region), told reporters in Shusha.

According to him, projects to restore infrastructure in the liberated territories of the country continue.

"Our citizens have already been resettled in three settlements in these territories and live well there. By the end of 2026, it is planned to resettle 34,500 families. This is reflected in the State Program for the Great Return to the territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan liberated from occupation," Huseynov said.

He noted that all returned citizens are provided with the necessary comfortable conditions for life and work.
