Number of mine victims in Azerbaijan reaches 340 since November 2020

The total number of mine victims in Azerbaijan has reached 340 since the 2nd Karabakh war ended, according to the infographics posted by Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to President of Azerbaijan - Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, on the social network X.

Report informs that, according to the infographics, 65 people died and 275 were injured in landmine explosions in the reporting period.

The landmine explosions killed 50 civilians and 15 military in the period from November 10, 2020, to December 6, 2023. Some 111 civilians and 164 servicemen were injured as a result.
