New commander of Russian peacekeepers in Karabakh arrives in Yerevan

The new commander of the Russian peacekeeping forces temporarily deployed in Azerbaijan’s Karabakh region, Major General Mikhail Kosobokov, has arrived in Armenia, Report informs, citing Aysor.
Mikhail Kosobokov met with Armenia's Defense Arshak Karapetyan.
The commander of the Russian military base No. 102 in Armenia, Colonel Dmitry Ovcharov and the military attaché of the Russian Embassy in Yerevan, Igor Sherbakov, also attended the meeting.
The term of office of the previous commander of the Russian peacekeepers, Lieutenant General Rustam Muradov, has expired.
