Russia considers that the work to be carried out on the draft peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia will continue on a bilateral basis, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said, Report informs, citing TASS.
“We see our role in assisting this process, and that is why we proposed Moscow for the next meeting. Our main goal is to ensure sustainable and lasting peace in the region,” Zakharova said.
According to her, there is no alternative to the implementation of the tripartite agreements between the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia.
