Israeli envoy: Mines - one of worst tragedies of Azerbaijan's Kalbajar

One of the most terrible tragedies of Kalbajar and the liberated Azerbaijani territories, in general, is the mine danger, Israeli Ambassador to Azerbaijan George Deek told Report during his trip to Kalbajar district.

He noted that Israel offered its assistance in demining the territories of Azerbaijan, adding that some Israeli companies came to Azerbaijan to offer their experience in this matter.

The diplomat noted that they are looking for the best ways to work together in this area.

This is a territory the size of half of Israel, so there is a lot of work to be done, and Israel is ready to assist it, the Israeli ambassador said.
