Ibrahim Kalin: Azerbaijan acted in Karabakh issue in accordance with international law

The liberation of Karabakh is a real success from the point of view of ensuring Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity, Turkish presidential spokesperson Ibrahim Kalin said, Report informs.

He said that Azerbaijan has always acted responsibly in this matter.

“Azerbaijan didn’t show aggression, and the country acted in accordance with international law. Azerbaijan deserves victory,” he said.

Kalin also touched upon the issue of normalizing relations with Armenia: “The main reason for the severance of diplomatic relations and the closure of the border with Armenia was the occupation of Karabakh in 1992. Now that this problem has been resolved, there are no obstacles to the normalization of relations with Armenia. There are only some unresolved points in connection with the Karabakh issue.”
