Azerbaijan and Armenia need to start working on a peace treaty, former Prime Minister of Belgium Yves Leterme told Report on the sidelines of the 8th Global Baku Forum.
“The situation in the region must stabilize. Now is the time to turn the page of the war and start working on long-term peace,” Yves Leterme said.
The former Belgian prime minister noted that it requires more understanding between peoples, as well as attracting investments in the region and developing good living conditions there.
He added that there is still much to be done.
