Expert: Once again, Azerbaijan restored justice on its own

Once again, Azerbaijan restored the long-awaited justice on its own, with its own hands, Pakistani international relations analyst Khalid Taimur Akram told Report.

“Over the past three years, Azerbaijan has called on the Armenian separatists to surrender their weapons, the Armenian population of Karabakh to integrate into Azerbaijani society, and the international community to facilitate this. As in 2020, no one heard Azerbaijan’s calls, and the government had to take matters into its own hands," he said.

Taimur Akram added that units of the Armenian armed forces entrenched in the Karabakh region of the Republic of Azerbaijan and illegal Armenian armed groups have been the cause of the death of many Azerbaijanis for many years.

“The agreement reached today on the suspension of local anti-terrorist measures in the Karabakh region and the decision of the separatists to surrender are another political victory for the Azerbaijani government,” he concluded.
