“Almost everyone, including post-Soviet states, continues to use the term ‘Nagorno-Karabakh’ and believes in the Armenian narrative about the supposed thousand-year presence of Armenians in Karabakh, and does not want to understand that this is a legal fiction created by the Soviet Union specifically to control the population,” Tsukerman said.
The expert added that Azerbaijan must continue to demonstrate its commitment to the rule of law and the peaceful reintegration of all its citizens.
