Defense Ministry: Information disseminated by Armenian side is false and provocative

The Defense Ministry has commented on the information disseminated by the Armenian side about the alleged two-hour firing by Azerbaijani Army units in several directions and the presence of wounded among our servicemen, Report informs, citing the Ministry.

According to the Ministry, the information is false and provocative: “By disseminating such information, the other side seeks to conceal information about those killed and wounded in the incidents in the Armenian army. On the contrary, the Armenian armed forces fired at the positions of the Azerbaijani Army in the direction of the settlement of Demirchidam in the Kalbajar region, using weapons of various calibers, on August 29 from 01:40 a.m. to 02:10 a.m. in Zod settlement.
The opposing side was suppressed by retaliation fire.

There are no losses or wounded among the military personnel of the Azerbaijan Army.”
