Memory of Patriotic War martyrs honored in synagogue with minute of silence

The memory of martyrs who lost their lives in the second Karabakh war was honored with a minute of silence.

Report informs, after that, the Chief Ashkenazi Rabbi of Azerbaijan, Shneor Segal, together with other members of the community, read a prayer in memory of the martyrs.

Today is a special day dedicated to the memories of the martyrs who gave their lives in the Patriotic War.

2 783 servicemen of the Azerbaijani Army were killed in the Patriotic War. Work is underway to identify 103 service members using DNA analysis. More than 100 servicemen are missing. Necessary measures are taken to find them and inform their families. At present, 1,245 servicemen are being treated in medical institutions.
