Chicago hosts conference in memory of Khojaly victims

The conference “Global Dialogue: Consequences of Khojaly - Memories and Aspirations” has been held in Chicago, Report informs.
The event took place at the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center.
Michael Gunter, a professor of political science at Tennessee Technological University, spoke at the meeting about the political landscape against which the Khojaly tragedy occurred.
Doctor of Philosophy and co-chairman of the Department of Peace and Conflict Studies Ali Asgarov touched upon the issues of conflict resolution.
Lithuanian military journalist Ricardas Lapaitis spoke about the international aspects of covering conflicts and their resonance with the events of Khojaly.
