Assistant to President: OSCE Minsk Group must assess Ganja terror

The crimes committed by Armenia must be assessed as a military and political provocation.

Report informs, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev told at a Ganja briefing.

According to him, the enemy's goal is to target the civilian population and create panic among the people, but it will not succeed.

Hajiyev said that the political goal of the enemy is to involve third parties in the conflict, to provoke our Armed Forces to fire at Armenian civilian points and they use it against Azerbaijan:

"However, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces are destroying legitimate military facilities on the battlefield as part of coercive peacekeeping operations in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan. Although a humanitarian ceasefire was signed, Armenia once again showed its hypocrisy and carried out a terror-attack on Ganja city. We strongly condemn such actions, and the parties carrying out the mediation mission - the OSCE Minsk Group - must assess it, "Hajiyev said.
