The pace of work to restore the liberated Azerbaijani territories is impressive, Director of the Centre for Trust, Peace and Social Relations at Coventry University in the UK, Professor Mike Hardy told Report.
Hardy is taking part in the two-day international conference “Advancing Post-Conflict Humanitarian Agenda: Sustainable development through revitalization of cultural environment” which opened May 19 in Shusha.
He said that this is his 10th visit to Azerbaijan, but the first to Karabakh. Noting that from the first moment he felt that this is a magical place, Hardy added that he was impressed by the Victory Road, as well as the ongoing construction work.
The British professor noted that this is a region that needs to be restored and revived.
