Azerbaijani employees of the Baku Office of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) visited Shusha, Report informs.
This private visit was organized on the initiative of the Azerbaijani employees of the UNDP on Sunday. Employees of the organization got acquainted with the progress of restoration work, sights and monuments of architecture, and also took a walk to the Jidir plain.
Since its liberation, the cultural capital of Azerbaijan has been visited by thousands of guests. Among them, along with numerous officials and representatives of various public organizations, there are many citizens of Azerbaijan, including those who visited the city of Shusha as tourists.
More and more Azerbaijani citizens are getting the chance to visit the country's liberated territories. Tourism has been chosen as one of the priority areas for the reconstruction and development of the liberated territories, and the flow of visitors is expected to grow steadily.
